Tier 4 Dependent Visa - Proof of Relationship

Post by questionguy65 » Mon Jan 21, 2013 4:41 pm

Hi,

I am a Tier 4 (General) student, studying at MSc Level at a highly trusted University based in London. My wife is also a Tier 4 (General) student.

My visa expires 29/01/2014 whilst hers expires 29/08/2014. Despite the fact that her visa last longer than mine, she has applied for a Tier 4 Dependent Visa. i.e she left UK in order to get her entry clearance.

In order to prove that we are genuinely together we have provided the following documents:

-A UK marriage certificate from Hillingdon Civic Center (We married about 1.5 months ago)

-A letter from my Uni accommodation office indicating that we have lived together for about 2 years and half at Uni's campus studio flat.

-Some copy of our trips to different parts of Europe including Hotel and Flight bookings.

All I want to know is that if these documents are enough to prove our relationship? As I have read other threads in this forum, many had been refused due to lack of evidence (Or not enough evidence even though they have included their marriage certificate). Do you think the above letters are enough and satisfactory?

Another question is: Assume that we have provided all the required documents, will she be possible to get her visa despite the fact that her current visa lasts longer that the Dependent one she is applying for?

Thank you very much for your help and patience for this long query.

1.) I think you been provided enough evidences but UKBA can ask for more or some clarification about existing ones.

2.) If she will manage to get dependent visa, she will be issued a new visa and her existing student visa will be cancelled.

If CAS is still valid and everything can be verfied by University, than I don't think they will cancel existing visa.
