My company made me redundant

Hi all,
My company made me redundant, and I am under Tier 2 general.
1. I want to confirm if I will only have 2 months to remain in the UK after the termination of employment?
2. Can I enter the country as a visiter (I am holding a Taiwan passport) or I need to follow 1-year cooling-off period?

There is no cooling off period for visitors.

I am in the similar situation but I am plan to apply as Family to Tier 2 - my wife is working under a separate Tier 2 visa. Does cooling off apply to tier 2 family visa?

Also, if I find a new job before I leave UK, can the new employer sponsor me a new Tier 2 general? I'm currently on Tier 2 Intra company transfer (have been working here for 2.5 years).
