Self Employed or Employed for ILR

Post by devendranadh.b » Tue Jan 22, 2013 5:24 pm

Hi,

I was software contractor with my own limited company since Oct 2008. But in between I could not find a contract so I joined a permanent job from Aug 2009 till April 2010. After this I am again contracting till now.

Should I be applying ILR as a Self Employed or Employed.

If Self Employed what all documents do I need to provide. can you please let me know if below are ok

1) Last 12 months payslips
2) Accountant Letter showing dividends
3) Last 12 months Personal bank accounts showing above
4) Last 12 months Business bank accounts showing above 1 & 2
5) Company VAT Certificate

Are these sufficient or do I need to include anything else?

Please advice

Regards
Dev

You also need accountant letter conforming salary paid, your share in company, you as director (if applicable). The letter should clearly say on which date payments were made along with gross and net salary and dividends.

Just search the forum and you will get lot of posts having details about required documents.
