ILR - Eligibility

Hi,

I need a clarification on my ILR eligibility date:-

I was granted VISA on 08/Jul/08 and I entered the UK on 10/AUg/08.
Could anyone please confirm if I am eligible to apply ILR 28days before VISA granted date or 28days before I entered the UK.

Yes if you are under points based visa and also if u qualify all other criteria.

What was your entry visa?
What is your current visa?
When does your current visa expire?
Under which category are you intending to apply for ILR?

These questions need answering....

1) My Entry VISA was Work Permit issued on 08-Jul-2008 and I entered UK on 10-Aug-08
2) My current VISA is the extension of the above VISA Tier 2 ICT (Employers Sponsored) Extended thrice
3) My current VISA expires on 19-Aug-2013
4) I will be applyting under Tier 2 ICT

Purely based on the info your supplied, you may count your 5 years from EC (Visa stamp date). And your 28 day can be based per your understanding - EC date.
