Limited Company - Payments into bank account exceed 12 month

Post by Renaz » Fri Jan 25, 2013 10:35 am

Hi

I am currently applying to extend my T1 visa. I am the director of my limited company and I have an accountant who runs my payroll on a quarterly basis. During this time, I pay myself weekly and then usually pay the final difference once my quarterly tax return has been completed.

I have payslips for a 12 month period but the payments into my personal bank account are outside this 12 month period. i.e. payslips are for Nov 2011 to Oct 2012, but payments are from Nov 2011 to Jan 2013.

From my perspective, as long as you are claiming earnings for a 12 months period (payslips), and as long as the total payments match those of the payslips, the payments paid do not have to be within the 12 months? is my thinking correct here?

Any comments would be much appreciated.

Cheers.

its the other way around, date on payslips dont matter but payments should be within 12 month period so you might want to select a different 12 month period in the 15 months preceding your application

I thought that the 'period of earning' must be within the 12 months. regarding the payslips, they show I earnt a certain salary over the 12 months.

My payslips are conducted every 3 months and are retrospective of the earnings earnt previously. i.e. I have earnt and paid myself BEFORE actually knowing the total amount earnt.

I dont think it is right...as last time when I submitted my application...Claimed earning for Feb2009-Jan 2010...as I get paid after 20 days of end of working month, My last wage was transferred into my account on 20th of Feb 2010.

I got visa without any issue.
