Doing T1 extension - when is the date for first application?

Hi everyone,

I've got a question that might sound very dumb.

I'm doing my T1 General Extension, and on it I have to state the date of my first successful application.

Where can I get this date?
Is this the start date on my biometrics card for T1 General?
Is this the date when I posted my first T1 General?
Is this the date when I applied for my PSW visa (because that's T1 and I had that before T1 General)
Is this the date when I started my T1 PSW visa?

Is there an easy way for me to find this date if I can no longer find my successful letter from UKBA?

when I applied. I used the acknowledgment letter received date.

This would be the date of your first approval. Not the date you applied. Based on the information provided above this would be your Tier 1 General Approval date (valid from), on your BRP.
