Passport: Mother maiden name spelling

Hi,

Mother name in my indian passport, has a minor spelling difference with my Mom's (indian) passport ('h' is missing, but sounds same).

I am little confused now to correct the same pelling while filling British passport application.
But its going to be ok? In case IPS observes that the application has a spelling correction, is that going to be a big concern?

Pls suggest is there another way to resolve this issue...

If I continue filling as it is in my passport, same problem may appear again when I am applying family visit visa to my Mom this year. so thinking to correct it now...
