Need info regarding Citizenship test

Hi Guys

I need info for someone as they are preparing to apply for the citizenship after having ILR for 5 years. The leave was granted outside immigration rules.

I need your valued advice on following points:

1) Does City & Guilds Entry level 1 ESOL certificate has validity period? it was issued in 2009 and, my question is, can it be used for application now.

2)Does each applicant over 18 need to do the test?

As stated in the table, there is no expiry for such qualifications

Yes each applicant over 18 has to take test. Children dont have to
