Confused, Need Help On Accommodation Requirements For Spouse

I'm going to apply for my spouse in march so here's the situation:

I live in a 4 bedroom council house with my mother, she is in receipt of council tax benefit and housing benefit, however I am not and I pay rent. I wish to apply with this property for my spouse visa however I am scared they might refuse my application on the grounds of the property being a council house and the owner is in receipt of public funds.

Will this property be ok to apply with? If so, what kind of documents will I need?
