Special documents - absences from UK - ILR

Post by poornesh » Mon Feb 04, 2013 5:33 pm

Hi
I have completed 5 years in UK on Tier 2 (ICT). I am away from UK for 164 days in 5 years . I have been away from UK for 12 times and now the new immigration rules as mentioned below we need to get letter from employer for all the absences and my query is

1. My company will not be tracking how many times I have been india when I was on annual leave. When I take a leave I can be at home in UK and or I can go abroad who will my company knows and therefore how can they provide a letter for my absences from uk?
2. I have been to India many times to bring my family and attend functions. What kind of letter I need to get from my company for the same.
3.How can I contact UKBA to get my queries clarified I have been trying to reach them on number provided in contacts but I am getting a message " all the operators are busy call after some time" and call gets disconnected.

Any help is highly appreciated.

Will your company not have a time register or a portal where you enter time. If it has one - then they will be able to track when you took annual leave. Ask them to state when you were on annual leave and in you absence tracker - mark that period as annual leave.
