BPR Card (Between new and old)

My visa will expire in 3 months time, but I am planning to renew my visa next week by a PEO appointment.
I understand that I will be issued with a new BPR within 7 days.

My question is, will my old BPR be still active up till its expiry date?
In other meaning, will I be able to travel using my old BPR till my new one is delivered (within these 7 days)???

No. Well, they will take your old BRP if your application is approved on the day of your PEO appointment, meaning you won't have it to travel with in the first place.

Then there's no way to be able to travel these 7 days till I get the new BPR!!!
