In the application form, should the job title of the applicant be Director, if he has set up a company?

Thanks. The reason that I was unsure was because the next question on the form is about the SOC code, hence I thought that the Job Title would relate to the work that the applicant is doing for the company, e.g. software developer, etc.

I will recommend you to write both the post you will be working in the business and director as well

eg Software Designer / Director and in the Soc code write appropriate soc code for the software developer.
