Dependant Visa and Tier 1 expiry for main applicant

Post by majhagabru » Sun Feb 10, 2013 7:03 pm

Hi,
I will be applying for ILR in july 2013. However I am getting married in May in India. Girl is in India. I am currently on Tier-1.

Question is : Will she get dependant Visa ? or Will UKBA authority create hassles?

Don't worry. She will get dependent Visa. You can apply after the marriage as soon you have docs ready (marriage certificate etc).

But remember that she needs to apply for it from India (I think I've seen a case where a person brought her spouse on tourist visa and apply dependent visa from UK which was rejected).
