CURRENT LIFE IN THE UK TEST ( Before 25th March)

Post by Kevin24 » Wed Feb 20, 2013 7:02 pm

Please note that Pass Certificates of the Current LI UKT is valid indefinitely. I called the LI UKT office today, and they confirmed that. All ILR applicants who have passed the current Test need not sit for the New Test(after 25th March). What a Good news and a releif. :D Made My day.

Confirmed news for future members looking to apply.

PS Don't worry they won't let the people who scored 100% give the test again!

I just got my ILR on 20th Feb, to help the fellow members of this forum. I put together an android app with my study notes as flash cards and its FREE to download.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... k.revision or search "lifeinthe UK" in google play store.

Go ahead, make use of it and All the best.

Warm Regards,
Senthil

Don't know whether the Current Test is becoming tougher, recently. Because a friend of mine has sat twice and she has failed. Those intending to take the test before 25th March, please put in some real hard work.

I personally wouldn't believe what is said on a TV programme. Your former LITUK test result will be valid for naturalisation as it has no expiry date.

Out of curiosity, which TV channel was this programme on?

Some solicitors don't know what they are talking about. Only they are good at is making a straight forward case very complicated ,so that they could send you a thumping bill. Most of the work has to be done by the applicant.

you wre right Kevin24.
I agree caz solicitors sometimes don,t aware from new legisslations fully and they creat ambiguity in very simple cases and matters.
