Hi

I have a question about my friend's salary. She is going to apply for Tier 1 General extension:

She is going to claim for 18/01/2012-17/01/2013 (the period is a bit strange as the salary is for overseas)

she paid salary for the month 20/12/2011-19/01/2012 on 22/01/2012. So, the salary for a month outside the 12 month period but the payment was made inside the 12 months period. Then, is she able to claim this payment as actually it was paid in the 12 months period and there is no point in this regard in the rules.

Its the payment posting date which matters.
