Post by go2khurram » Mon Feb 25, 2013 3:48 pm

I think its a stupid question but i m putting thing with the assumption that no question is stupid question...

As new fee going to be applicable from 6th april 2013, If someone send a postal application on Friday 5th April (Application probably receive on Monday 8th April) do we have to pay the old fee or new increased fee

It is the norm to accept the date of postmark to be the application date. Worth getting a certificate of posting from the Post Office or better send by tracked post.

Once new fees become live, forms would be amended to show the new fees. So your application would need to include the correct fees as prescribed in the form. However you would have to check the form version and its validity at the time you post the application.

Waiting until the last day of old fees would be playing it too tight.

Is it correct in assuming that,Even for PEO bookings before 6th April, and Appointments at PEO after 6th April same rules will apply.

In the case of in-person PEO appointments, the fee will be that which is effective on the date of the appointment. The date you booked the appointment isn't relevant.
