Date of application confusion

Post by UKBALoveStory » Wed Feb 27, 2013 3:40 pm

Can anybody kindly explain what is the difference between application sent by post and application sent by courier?

if you use post office, I believe it is "application sent by post", is that correct?

I have found the below mentioned guidelines from Tier 1 form

Date of application
42. The date of application will be taken to be the following:
• Where the application form is sent by post, the date of posting; or
• Where the application form is sent by courier,the date on which it is delivered to the UK Border Agency of the Home Office;

Many thanks

Thats correct - the day you 'posted' the application, that date is date of application unlike courier where it the date they received it.
