Hi people.
There is some new serious rumor regards forthcoming ILR(HSMP) rules that could be published during spring/summer 2008.

Person who published it, has fair credit.

Got the text translated to English.

"Home Office leaked reliable information about subj. Summer will be a separate form and gaidans need to prove that earned in the last five years £ 200,000, IELTS 8 everything else as FLR (HSMP)."

It seems to be the same my lawyers specualted a month ago and me posted as well , Still a rumour till some concrete evidences come up.

So, you think that ILR might become much more difficult than FLR or even acceptance to HSMP?

Generally the new rules require 35K per year for FLR(HSMP). This rumour puts the figure at 40K per year without the possiblity of even a day out of work. The day you arrive in the UK (five years ago mind you), you will have been presented a 40K per year job and you need to start immediately. Even then, you would only just pass the rumoured ILR requirements.

Not a very well thought out rumour.

Whoever started the rumour definately did not think it thru thoroughly.

How many pple earn £40000 per annum in the UK anyway? The rules might change (yes of course) but not for pple to earn £200000 in 5 years!
and i am pretty sure it must be from one job - no part-time income!

A perfect example of rumour/speculation can be seen here when one of the forum member understood that HSMPers have to earn £40K every year for the period of 5 years.

He did not considered many of the possibilities like £200K in 2 years or £200K a year.
