Hi all,
Is it true that after 13th dec 2012, people holding tier 4 visa cannot switch to tier 1 entrepreneur visa through the route of £200,000 if they are already within the UK'? And they could only switch if they engage a venture capital firm with a funding of £50,000 otherwise they must head back home and apply from their own country?

Yes. It is true. You would need a VC firm's approval and funding (if you are on Tier 4)
