Hi,

Once I get my PR, I am planning to apply for my child British citizenship.

Please note that my child is currently tier 1 dependant valid till march 2014.

I will be applying on May. After I get my PR, assuming i apply british citizenship for my kid, how much time does it take and is it ok for my kid to travel abroad while still being applied for citizenship.

This query needs to be moved to British Citizenship thread rather than discussing it on ILR
