Previous Earnings from Work

On page 6 of the HSMP application form it asks for start and end date of the earnings claim period, questions 27 and 28.
My question is this: Since i am using the pro-rata principle as used in the guidance notes for 8months i worked overseas, do i enter this 8 month period in for these questions or rather the entire 12 months dispite the extra 4 months being effectively irrelevant?

Also, for question30 on the same page do i enter my 8 month total earnings or the pro-rata figure which is calculated as an annual figure?
