*** ILR without dependants passport (delayed passport) ***

Post by MonkeyBusiness » Mon Mar 18, 2013 8:46 am

Hi all,

Can someone help me here please

I am applying for ILR soon, I applied for my daughters passport about 2 months ago but all new passports are being delayed because of technical difficulties and I have been issued a letter stating new Passport number and the reason why its delayed

Can I apply with this letter ?

also my wife's current passport has been extended for another 10 months for the same reasons ( new passport applied at the same time but delayed ). Expiry date on the passport has been extended for 10 months

Can I apply for ILR without extended passport and the reference letter ?

planning to apply using PEO

Many thanks in Advance

I would say yes as now a days brp cards are issued and hence the passports are not needed. You could apply with their old passports n the new passport numbers. But it might be worth checking with the PEO b4 hand.
Thanks!

when u are going to apply?

I am also in the same situation but did not apply for the extension of current expired passport.

Did the high commission give you any letter when extending the expiry date , explaining the situation and reason for delay?

problem is that we don't have any other option

if the high commission says they cannot provide passport what can you do ?

you just have to explain the problem and go for it
