Tier 1 General applying for ILR on 10 years basis

Post by solospy » Mon Mar 18, 2013 3:08 pm

Hi Guys, i wonder if anybody can help me.

My situation is as follows:

Main Applicant: Tier 1 General visa expiring 30 Sept 2013 (5 years complete on Tier 1 but also complete 10 year in total)
Spouse: Joined me as Tier 1 dependent on 1 Nov 2010

Wana save my self to score points again when applying for ILR by applying under 10 years long residence but what are the implications on spouses application.

I understand that if applied ILR through 5 years tier 1 completeion, my spouse can apply ILR with me as she has completed 2 years with me

BUT if applied ILR through 10 years long residence does she needs to apply FLR, stay with me for 2 years and then apply for ILR or she can apply ILR soon after she is granted FLR ?

Thanks
