Gibraltar

1. Does an individual require a visa to visit Gibraltar if the person holds ILR?
2. Does spending time in Gibraltar count as an "absences from the UK" for the purpose of calculating absences for naturalisation?

1) see http://www.gibraltar.gov.gi/civil-statu ... ion-office - 'Note' at bottom of page.

2) Not 100% sure but I would think it does count as absence since Gibraltar is not a part of the UK but rather a British Overseas Territory.
