points on license.

Hi guys,
Just received 3 points for taking a wrong U turn and already have 3 points (bad tyre) on my license. I am eligible to apply for nationality in 3 months. Would the points be a problem?

So those appoints are there because of Fixed Penalty Notices? If so, when were those two notices issued?

If there were any appearances in Court, details please.

Yes, these are Fixed Penalty Notices and there were/shall be no appearances in court. 3 points (due to bad tyre) received in August 2011. 3 points for taking an illegal u turn was received last night.

OK, download this UKBA document, then read 3.5.2 et seq.

Based upon what you have posted, it looks like you will be OK.

You should be ok. The caseworker will look at the frequency of FPN over the last 12 months. If you have many then it would indicate bad character. However, 2 FPNs for two different offences should not indicate bad character. Do not get anymore until after citizenship.
