Passport Renewal - Travel plans ahead.

Hi,

My Indian Passport is going to expire on 30th of July 2013. I have to renew it as soon as possible, but i have a travel plan in the 1st week of May 2013.

I am planning to apply for renewal in person next week in HCI London. How long it takes to get my passport, if i apply in Person?

usually an week.... but some times it can take more than 10 days...

FYI, I applied using tatkal service in Birmingham and was issued new passport same day (As long as you have original un-expired passport and photocopies of all pages + letter explaining why you are requesting tatkal). The same-day service is £152 though.
