Category ? British Citizen's Spouse OR Not.

Post by skt1977 » Fri Apr 05, 2013 10:45 am

Hi,

Few months back when I was applying for my BC along with my child, my wife did not apply because she had been away from the country for more than 90 days. She now is eligible to apply as her last 1 year is clear. However, In the mean time, I did my ceremony became a BC and am waiting for my 1st PP to come. My child already got the british PP by post few weeks back.

I went for the Passport IPS interview appointment yesterday.

So here is me waiting for my 1st PP to come and there is she calling NCS or an appointment. NCS says if your husband is a British Citizen, the 3 yr requirement applies. I am confused.

What are the key criterion diffs ?

Please advise.

Thanks in advance
SKT
