No acknowledgement letter for app submitted on 26th March

Post by sj2013 » Mon Apr 08, 2013 11:56 am

I submitted my T1G extension application on 26th March by post and tracked that they received it on 27th. But I haven't received the acknowledgement letter yet.

I read it in other posts in the forum that the turn out time is really quick these days. Is there anything to worry?

Personally I don't mind if they don't send me one. But my wife's employer wants to know that we applied within time.

I can see it on RM website that they delivered it on 27th. I was expecting to receive the biometric letters by now as many members here received theirs within first week of application.

On a separate note, does anyone know if UKBA is on strike today? I saw the news on their site on 4th April that they cancelled their strike. In my job, I need to contact with some HO departments (not UKBA though) and I found today that a lot of them are on strike.
