Inactive TB treated in 2005

Post by Andrea Butterfly » Wed Jan 24, 2007 7:12 am

Dear all,

Would appreciate it if somebody could advise me on this. I am going to apply for a Canadian Study Permit in a couple of months (around June 2007). I had been diagnosed for Inactive TB (of the lymph nodes) in January 2005 and underwent the treatment for 10 months thereon. After that, have been doing regular check ups and my doctor says I have been cured and theres nothing to worry.

1) But I was just wondering what this means for my study permit. Will there be any problem?
2) How long will the medical assessments take in my case ?
3) How long would it take for me to get my study permit?
4) How much in advance should I ideally apply for the study permit if I want to travel mid-Aug 2007?

Please help.

Andrea
