Inviting Family while on Tier 2 General visa

Post by confused007 » Wed Apr 10, 2013 9:09 am

Hi Guys,

I have a question regarding the invitation of family members for UK visit while on Tier 2 visa.
The question I have is regarding the accommodation arrangement.
I Am trying to invite my mom and dad to UK for a period of 1 month. Do I need to have a 2 bedroom house/flat or a 1 bedroom house/flat will suffice. Is there any requirement where we need to have enough rooms for invitation.

Any suggestions would help a lot.

Thanks & Regards,
Confused

No. You must only need to show your bank statements/pay slips to prove your financial health. Thats all. (telling thru my personal experience).
Also, your parents will be general visitor (not family visitors, as you are not settled here yet). So, they must prove sufficient ties to home country and also prove their financial status as well.
