Long term Schengen for unmarried partners?

Post by dillonm » Sat Jan 27, 2007 10:56 am

Hi

I live in the UK with my girlfriend, who is German. I've just been given a 5-year residency permit for the UK as an unmarried partner. I heard a rumour that I can now apply for a long-term schengen visa (2 years) for tourism. Anyone know if this is true, and if so, how I apply? I've checked out the German Embassy website, but its not very helpful.

Cheers!
