Tier 1 General (Extension) On-line booking Issues

Hi,

My current Tier 1 Expires on 2nd June 2013.
I have been on the booking website and tried searching for appointment between 15 May - 31 May 2013 for Croydon Office but unable to get any.

Can someone please guide me what is the best way to secure online appointment given your experiences.

How many days in advance you need to book the appointment for?
What is the best time of the day to book the appointment?
Am I too late to book a slot for end of may given my visa expires on 2nd June

My personal experience is - it is waste of time trying for PEO. We wont get it (not to discourage you but I spent almost 2 weeks at midnight waiting for the site to release slots any where in UK or N Ireland). But there are applicants who are successful in booking PEO. Slots are released 42 days in advance.
Finally I posted my application and got BRP in 3 wks.
