Use 8 weeks as the standard but can be sooner or later. The ECM review will only filter for obvious errors. Are you sure there is clear error in this application; otherwise a new application will be quicker. Subjective reasons for refusal are not usually overturned at the ECM review stage.

Is this an application as the dependant of a Tier 2 migrant worker? Exactly why were you refused; what is the wording of the refusal notice?

You have posted this question in the wrong section of the forum. This is for Tier 2 migrant workers and their dependants.

However, if you have managed to rectify all of the gaping holes in the evidence (see FM-SE) of the immigration rules, and that evidence is for events that existed before the time of the decision, then there is a good chance that the ECM review will accept this and overturn the original decision. No one can say with certainty as no one can see the actual evidence.
