Switching from ICT tier 2 short term to Long term

Hi,

I am from India and here on ICT Tier 2 short term which expires in July 2013.

I need to switch to long term.

Question:
1. Reading some of the topics in the relevant forums, I understand that I may need to go back to India to apply for a long term. Kindly confirm.

2. Does my organization need to transer me to the India Branch for me to apply for long term OR I can/should coninue to be on the payroll of the UK branch of the organization?

Hi Yogi,

I am in similar situation and want to extend my visa from ICT short term to Long term.

How you manage to move to long term visa?

Do you need to visit home country change it to long term.
