Tier 1 [G] -ILR

Post by xyz_abc » Mon Apr 29, 2013 1:17 pm

Hi,

For Tier 1 (G) applicants applying for ILR, do they MUST provide 12 months payslips for last 12 months immdediate to application -Just to prove that they are economically active?

Provided their 6 months salary is sufficient to claim the earning points.

Thanks.

Payslip
: This must be the most recent payslip. It must
be dated no earlier than one calendar month before
the date of the application. It should either be an
original payslip or on company-headed paper. If the
payslip is not on headed paper or is a printout of an
online payslip, you must provide a letter from your
sponsor, confirming the payslip is authentic. The letter
from the sponsor must be on company headed paper,
and must be signed by a senior official.

If 6 months salary is sufficient to claim the earning points then its cool. No need of 12 months salary slips or bank statements.

Where did you get this information from? I thought as long as

1. It is 12 consecutive months within 15 Months from the date you apply for the ILR (counting backwards).

2. The total sum of the salary is sufficient to claim the required points.

This applies to me.

So if I wanna skip 3 months randomly out of my last 12 months thus submit only 9 months payslips then would it be Ok?

Another question: For those 3 months I worked as limited company while paying myself least salary I have payslips for that amount but I never took that amount out of my business account and paid into my personal account. The business account shows all earnings and include the amout I should have paid myself as salary.

1. Can I present the business account statement with integrated salary amounts?

2. Or should I simply skip those 3 months?

Please reply as that will sort me out!!

Thanks.

you can use even 2 month payslips if they fulfill income criteria,
salary in business account will not be consider your income unless it transferred to your personal account.

Really? I always thought as long as it is with the 12 months period, that should be ok. It doesn't have to be the most recent 12 months. For example if i am to apply ilr in 02/14 and I only worked from 02/13-10/13, but if my earning during these months in 2013 can score me enough points then it will be fine. I can use the payslips from this year to apply as they are within the 12 consecutive months. Am I right or something has changed?
Many thanks.
