Minimum Salary requirement: Bonus vs Basic Salary

Post by raykau » Fri May 03, 2013 1:56 pm

Hello Everyone

I am not sure whether this has been responded to before but would like this to confirmed.

The minimum salary requirement, does it allow Bonuses to be included as well. If my basic salary is just a little less (~500 pounds) than what is mentioned on the SOC but adding bonuses it goes higher is it fine? My last p60 shows my yearly salary higher than the minimum requirement but if my monthly salary (apart from the yearly bonus) X 12 is a little less - should it be fine or will I need a raise?

Please advice?

Many Thanks

You need show your recent salary sleep and your bank statement (dated less then one calender month) to prove that you earning same or more than what required.

People provide P60s to show they were economically active.

Bonus will not count towards your salary requirements.

So, you need to provide at least one payslip which shows that you are met the earnings.

Bonus / Dividends all will count as earnings. You are fine.

May be not. Read point 49 and 78 from Tier 2 guidance will give you the idea.
