my freind applied for eea2 as an extended family in 2008 but his lawyer have travelled out of the country.when he the called the ukba they said they have posted the documents to their old address but cant tell the outcome on phone.how can he know the outcome of the application.

Write and tell them that the decision was not communicated, and request they serve the decision again.

Ask them for a proof of the post & say that you did not get anything.
