FPN - 3 points and £60 fine on the spot

Post by mrdell80 » Wed May 08, 2013 5:20 pm

Hi,

I was pulled over by a cop and was charged a FPN - 3 points on my license and £60 fine. No courts were involved.

Do I need to declare this in mt T1G ext form under traffic offences?

Please advice?

Thanks.

The guidance says:

Code: Select all

E2 We will carry out criminal record checks
on all applicants and dependants. You must
give details of all unspent and spent criminal
convictions. This includes road traffic offences
but not fixed penalty notices (such as speeding
or parking tickets) unless they were part of a
sentence of the court. This includes all drink-
driving offences.
Is it clear?

Thanks. Just to conclude I had 3 points on my license. I didn't specify this in my T1G ext app and I had no problems getting an ext.

Hi ram80,
Can you please tell me where did you find this information? I could not find this info in Tier1 Gen guidance.
Thanks

As far as I understand, no court means no conviction
