NQF Level 6, but job comes under NQF Level 3 !! can i apply?

I have got an update from my HR department yesterday. Although I am working as an IT Analyst since November 2012, the HR person told me that the job need to be NQF level 6 in order to be able to switch to tier 2 general. I have looked the SOC codes and found my responsibilities comes under PC Support analyst job, but its in NQF Level 3. my question is , does this mean that I cant make application for tier 2 visa, because my job is not NQF Level 6 ??

note: my current visa is Tier 1 PSW

I work as an information analyst and I applied with the soc code 2329 previously which is now split to 2119 and 2426 mine closely matches 2119 which I ll use for ILR have a look if ur jd matches these

In order to switch to tier 2 general, the job must be at NQF level 6 or above unless it is in the short list.

According to new law the job must be NQF level 6 if u want to switch from psw to tier 2.

Work out little on SOC 2010 on link below and find NQF level 6 code which is near to ur work
