urgent help

i had submitted my eea2 application and more than 5 months gone
but i am still waiting for Rc
please anyone can give me suggestion what should i do now?
if ask my solicitor he says me that we can not do any thing.i should wait
and when then will recieve any information from ukba they will call me
i have fed up from my solicitor ..can he not call to ukba and ask the status about my application?
should i say to to my solicitor that send request to ukba for documents back?
