Tier 2 Visa General - Applied in Chennai VFS

Post by bali_ari » Tue May 14, 2013 6:07 am

Hi all,

Recently I got my Resctricted Certificate of Sponsorship and applied for visa in VFS chennai. 10/May/2013.

How many it will take for the process. (they say it is 15 days)

I have points for the following option

COS- RLMT (test conducted mentioned in Cos) -30
Salary -20 (above 30000 GBP per year)
English Language (PhD -IIT) - 10
Maintanenece (certfied as Yes by A rated sponsor ) - 10

Total - 70
Required - 70

It is straight forward but.....Still having some fear.....

can any one advice....

Thank you

your case is looking simple. If everything is went fine, it will be decided within 10 to 15 days.
Nothing to worry.

Can you let me know how the CoS certificate looks like? Is it just like a normal piece of paper or is it a proper certificate?

The CoS is an online approval but the sponsor can do a print of it.

it is just a number (a virtual document). it contains 1 and half page with the details of your sponsor, your job description, salary, RLMT conducted by employer, your pass port details, sponsor details, their license number etc...

RLMT procedure vary from case to case.
You can refer the UKBA site for further information, as Iam unaware of the details.
But definitely it must be advertised in www.jobs.ac.uk and must be for atleast 28 days for clearing RLMT
All the applicant details must be properly documented and should be submitted to UKBA.
