Can anybody confirm that one can apply for a schengen visa at the German embassy via the POST if you have been issued two schengen visas at ANY schengen embassy during the last 24 months. Has anyone used this facility?

The VFS website says the following below, however, I want to know whether or not, anyone has actually used the service under the category I mention. Often these things are not valid in reality, also I have not received a response from the German Embassy.

Eligibility
To apply for a visa from the German Embassy London by post, please ensure you meet the requirements for postal applications or your documents will be returned to you. You may only apply by post if you meet one of the following:

You are an immediate family member of an EU or German national or
You have had a Schengen visa from the German Embassy in London issued within the past 12 months or
If you have had at least 2 used Schengen visa from any Schengen Embassy issued within the past 24 months or
If you have had a one-year or multiple-year Schengen visa issued within the last 24 months and have used it

I haven't used the service, but the instructions on the website appear to be clear.

Yes, I have done so successfully applying as as an EU spouse. Returned within a week.

The Germans seem to run a decent embassy visa section. Glad it worked out well.

It's rather a pity that not all the embassies apply the same guidance consistently.
