visiting visa for parents

hi,i want to invite my parents to visit uk for six month this summer.i cant find any information about this in this forum.can anybody help me about the document i need to send before applying for visa.is there any requirment for minimum fund in my account.i have got a british passport and i have got my own three bedroom house to stay here.
