Can someone please confirm what do we get back on surrender of passport from VFS???


I assume our cancelled indian passport and an A4 sized surrender certificate page. Is this correct?

I'm sorry, I assumed you are doing it in person at one of the VFS centers in London.

I went to VFS in person and surrendered the passports for 3 of my family members and paid nearly 375 GBP for the privilege.

What information are written in the surrender certificate? Name, date of birth, place of birth. Do they write Father, Mother and spouse name as well? My spouse name has a spelling mistake in my passport. So wondering where to put the correct spelling - the surrender form or the OCI application?
