Spouse visa - accomodation requirements

Post by bhavna » Thu Feb 08, 2007 2:49 pm

Dear All,

Can you please let me know what type of document have you submitted for the spouse visa application confirming the room sizes (> 50 square ft etc). Is there any such official document which lists the sizes for each of rooms in a property?

Thanks

contact ur local council to do an immigration inspection on the property and they will give you a document stating all you need (cost £130)

or you could simply get a letter from ur landlord to go with the lease and this should suffice

Hi, i am wondering how the landlord will have any knowledge about room sizes etc. Best he can say is that the house has 2 bedrooms, 1 living room etc. Is there any other document the landlord may have which has room sizes. Are the visa officials too stringent about this requirement?

Cheers
