BRP Not recievied yet

Post by juz » Tue May 21, 2013 4:16 pm

Hello,
I had my ILR approved on 8th May.

My solicitor advised me that I should recieved my BRP cards in 7-10 days.

Its nearly 2 weeks now but not received anything?
Is this normal?

My solicitor has today sent email to the BRP team, but just wondering and tensed.

Does it mean my application has an issue, although I know its been approved, as cant understand why such a long delay.

Any comments would be appreciated.

Thanks

Usually BRP arrive via DX courier and it must be reached within 7-10 days once ILR approved.

Yes that's what I thought, but looking at this, it more then 10 days.

Not sure what the delay can be?

Do you think there is an issue with my application?

Since your ILR is approved then you must have been received your BRP. I think you can personally call to DX courier too to inquire that is there any letter/package for you with them?

Call DX when they ask for a tracking number ask them to do a search by postcode and surname.

They will ask only your address and name instead of tracking number. If luckily they will have something then you can arrange its delivery.

Delay might occur because BRP card not being issued by caseworker rather by dispatch team.

Thanks mate.

It is a great relief.
I was getting more worries as my application got approved in 2 months (which to me seemed quick) looking at others timeline via post.

So was suprised why so long for my BRP's.
Atleast now am done...

Guess UKBA realised they forgot to thrill you during the application processing and didn't want you to miss out the hair raising experience.

Enjoy!
