Have UKBA introduced Credibility Test in-country Tier 4 visa

Can somebody please confirm will this apply on Tier 4 visa extensions from inside the UK?

From the 10th June 2013,if you apply for a Tier 4 student visa you may have to sit a short interview when you attend the Embassy to submit your application and biometric information.

The interview will focus on your reasons for coming to the UK; this is known as a credibility interview.

A report of the interview will be sent to the visa officer who will consider it alongside your visa application and supporting documents. You may be phoned for a further interview if the visa officer needs more information.

That only applies to overseas application and not in country!
IMpossible is 2 letters to long!

Would you be kind enough to post the link/pointer of these changes where it states the interview rule..?

From 1st November 2013 Tier 4 student applying from inside uk will also be asked to undertake an interview.
