Is 2nd extension required?

Post by venture » Thu Jun 13, 2013 5:28 pm

Hi all,

I had received initial tier 1 visa valid from January 2009 however I entered into UK on September 09. No long period holidays been taken afterwards. My existing visa (1st extension) is due on February 14. As per 5 years rule, I will be eligible for ILR on September 14.

I have gone through various posts , however would like to confirm from you as well. I am prepared to apply for 2nd extension as I am short of period required for ILR.

I would be grateful to receive your comments on any chance of avoiding 2nd extension.

Thanks

You have to be in this country for 5 years, so from Sep 2009 to Aug 2014.

If you first extension is upto Feb 2014, then yes you have to go for 2nd extension. NO choice
