Indian visa online - help please

Post by emanjuk » Mon Jun 17, 2013 10:23 am

Hi,
I am trying to apply for an Indian visa after getting a British passport and surrendering my Indian passport.
I cannot get past certain questions of the online form.
1. Have I traveled to India before and what are the visa details?
I have traveled but on my Indian passport. Should I put 'no'?
There is no option for 'not applicable'
2. I am applying by post. Can I skip the photo upload process?

Thank you very much your help

I strongly recommend apply in person to your nearest IHC. I know you might have to take a day off and travel hassel but it would be much less compare to sending documents back and forth.
The online application forms are full of bugs. I suggest select the closet options that are suitable to you and just print it off. Then when you visit the IHC explain the problem , they should note it down and consider your application. This is what I did.

Hi,
I have the same issue as yours. Can you please advise what option you ended up selecting finally on the Indian Visa form?

Regards,
Imran
