Urgent - Regarding Bank Statements

Hello All
I am about to apply for HSMP. However everyday I get information that confuses me. Please help.

I was going through the following link

Devakihsmp has said that the application was denied because the bank statements were not attested and stamped. She claims that the bank statements were original ones. I really do not understand this.

My question is : I get my statements every month by post. These are original. Does the bank still need to attest and stamp them?

Hi Sreeni,

Even i also saw that post just now.
I dont think attestation from the bank is not required. As so many of my friends got it with attestation.
But anyway for the safe side i want to go for attestation.

I have enquired with HDFC bank we can get stamped and sign.
